My Grandfather's People

It tells the great transformation of a family and a country through the story of ten-year-old Ozan (Durukan Çelikkaya) and his grandfather (Çetin Tekindor), who live in a small town. Ozan is a 10-year-old boy living in a small seaside town in the Aegean. Because of his Cretan immigrant grandfather Mehmet Bey, his friends make fun of him as "infidel". Afraid of being alone, Ozan gets angry with his family, especially his grandfather, "We are Turks." he says to them.
