Famous musician Hüseyin Kenan Gün's childhood passed in difficulties with his influential uncle, Saib Paşazade. Saib Bey has never forgiven his sister Melek Hanım, who got married without his consent. When her husband, who was convicted of theft, died in prison, Melek Hanım was left in the middle with her son Kenan and daughter Afife and took shelter with her brother. Although Saib Bey seems to have embraced them out of necessity, he has turned their lives into a dungeon by constantly emphasizing his sister's mistake and by embarrassing them that he had done a great favor by hosting them. Kenan, who was constantly despised, pushed around and even accused of stealing by his uncle, met Şem-i Dede, who lived like a dervish away from people, and started to be interested in music when he listened to his music, and realized that he was talented in this subject. His uncle strongly objected to his musical education and insisted that he take engineering education after high school. Engineer Kenan has a broken love story behind him. He loved his high school friend Leyla very, very much, but Leyla is the daughter of a wealthy family. Kenan, on the other hand, is a poor young man who grows up like a refuge with his uncle. Kenan had to reject the young girl because he did not consider himself worthy of her, and a year later he learned that Saib Bey was engaged to his son, Cemil. Kenan has suffered so much, he has withdrawn into himself. He believes that his whole life will be spent in poverty and failures. This unfinished love will open unhealed wounds in his soul, and he will lose his faith in love. While completing his engineering education, he never stopped his relationship with music, and when he finished school, he started to work as a music teacher instead of doing his job. With the advice of a friend, he decides to go to Europe to further his music education. Meanwhile, his sister Afife got married. Melek Hanım sells her last possession of a small shop and sends her son to Europe. Years later, Hüseyin Kenan's return to the home where he grew up will be magnificent. He is now a famous musician whose songs are not lost on the tongue. His uncle, who played for the mayor, is now proud of him, takes credit for his fame, and cannot fit Kenan into the sky. Leyla, who is now in an unhappy marriage with her uncle's son Cemil, regrets it. Cemil does not know this love story from the past. He is jealous of her success. Kenan has also changed a lot, he enjoys all the benefits of being famous. He responds to the interest of Nimet Hanım, a married woman from his neighbors. While going to meet Kenan, Nimet Hanım takes Lamia with her so as not to attract attention. Lamia is an orphaned girl who grows up with her distant relatives. Huseyin Kenan is a fan. He is waiting for the end of the military service of the young man, to whom he was engaged, without even asking his own consent, at the discretion of his relatives. All the work of the house is on your shoulders. Even though Nimet Hanım knows the reason for carrying her with her, it is good for Lamia to get away from work and this house where she is not very well liked, but this situation starts to hurt Lamia over time. Lamia fell in love with Kenan.
